I'm Laura, a.k.a Lalu, a photographer, graphic designer, visual artist, and Spanish/English interpreter from Buenos Aires, Argentina.
I have 18 years of graphic design experience. My journey began in advertising school when I received Photoshop classes. At the end of my first year, I faced health challenges and had to drop out. However, using the knowledge I had acquired, I taught myself graphic design (with the help of YouTube, of course) and soon started working for various companies and professionals who trusted me with their graphic design needs.
Years later, photography became my passion. I completed a one-year course followed by a two-year program, earning a degree in professional photography. I also received further training in portraiture, lighting, studio photography, photo retouching, and manipulation.
I also love teaching and have conducted photography classes and workshops on many occasions, in different parts of the world.
Over the years, I have also worked as a Spanish/English translator (20 years of experience) and interpreter (13 years of experience).
I believe in going the extra mile, trying hard, taking chances, and being bold, transparent, and honest. I love learning new things, finding solutions, and solving problems. I dislike not knowing and not being able to fix things.
I love storytelling. I've been writing, reading, making movies with my little nephews, watching sitcoms, and cooking!
